I tried to write this post about a week ago, but wasn't in the mind set too. I haven't posted in so long because I have been sick with get this, the flu and strep throat (thank God for antibiotics); on top of this, school started last week. Why does everything have to happen at the same time in my life?
I know I wrote last time that I was worried about my Tounsi family. I just want to let you all know that they are okay. Apparently, Rey went missing for a few days because he was at a protest and wasn't able to get home before curfew. That was the only scare, but he is ok and safe.
Da man and I are still discussing our future together. He doesn't want to do this because then he has to make a choice either to change or let me go. At this point, I want to be out of the grey so I wish he made his decision already.
I still haven't started this internship yet. Apparently, there are issues between the site and the school, but no one wants to talk to each and I have to play e-mail/phone tag with both. We'll see if this ever happens. Yet, I have found a summer internship at Brazilian Center here that pays and offers free Portuguese. It have nothing to do with my degree, but hey, I am going to apply for it anyway. Insh'Allah everything works out.
I already feel behind in/overwhelmed with school hence the title. I doubt that will happen, but let's hope I can get on top of things. :~P
